Resulting from a collaboration between Polène and Danish designer Sia Hurtigkarl, the Yni basket celebrates the art of braiding. Through a play of infinite loops, the leather offcuts become central to the creative process, interlaced with hand stitching in natural raffia. Seemingly without beginning or end, the design for the Yni basket embodies the idea of circularity fundamental to the Plèi collection.

The basket’s name derived from the word “infinite” alludes to its infinite loops and its multiple uses, ideal as a centrepiece, but serving equally well to hold fruit or trinkets.
