From the Plèi collection and made entirely from upcycled leather offcuts, the “Pili” flower reinterprets the pure elegance of an arum lily. The combination of leather is revealed as the petal splits in half thanks to a clever folding technique supported by discrete hand-sewn stitches. A long, ribbed leaf wraps neatly around the leather-covered stem. This flower can be displayed in a bud vase, with other leather flowers, or in a bouquet of dried flowers. The name “Pili” is a play on the French word for “folding”, showcasing the ingenious technique used to fold this single leather petal.
